Results of TAIslim System Studies Published in Prestigious Scientific Journal:
Participants Lost 6 Times More Body Fat!
Phoenix, AZ — December 31, 2011 — The results of several human clinical studies on FreeLife International’s TAIslim Total Body System have been recently published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Functional Foods in Health and Disease, thereby adding to a growing body of clinical evidence supporting the efficacy of the Company’s quadruple patent-pending fitness and weight loss supplement program.
In this important paper, which describes a rigorous 90-day randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human clinical study, participants using the products of the TAIslim System lost 4 times more body weight and 6 times more body fat than those using placebo alone, even under the same conditions of caloric intake, diet and exercise. The paper also discusses the unique mode of actions of TAIslim System, including significant appetite suppression and stimulation of energy expenditure (calorie burning). The System was found to reduce not only body weight and body fat, but also body mass index (BMI), waist and hip circumference, and to cause significant improvements in blood pressure and fasting glucose levels. These are considered as multiple risk factors of metabolic syndrome, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, cancer and many others.
Speaking of this newly published research, Dr. Julie Campbell, a highly respected expert in atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease research, said, “I was very impressed by the results showing that the TAIslim System controls appetite and energy expenditure by improving caloric metabolism, and as a consequence decreases body weight, waist and hip circumference and other anthropometric parameters. The study was very well planned and analysed and the results convincing. Congratulations on a wonderful result. The combination of the TAIslim products certainly will be a great asset to those people wishing to lose weight.”
Dr. Judith S. Stern, Distinguished Professor of Nutrition & Internal Medicine at University of California, Davis added, “The article is excellent, the methods are well-described, and the many outcome measures are supportive of decreases in some of the metabolic parameters that place a person at risk for metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes. This carefully-designed 12 week study clearly showed that, compared to people taking a placebo, those taking the TAIslim System lost more weight and were not hungry.”
According to principal investigator and FreeLife’s Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Haru Amagase, “We are very encouraged by the results of our multiple human clinical studies on the TAIslim System. We believe that our research demonstrates great promise for those seeking safe, effective, and sustainable weight control. We are honored to have had our results published in leading scientific journals.”
Rick Handel, Chief Product Officer of FreeLife, commented “The TAIslim Total Body System is a result of FreeLife’s continuing commitment to cutting edge science and human clinical research. With four patents pending and rigorous scientific studies, no other weight loss or fitness product can approach the scientific innovation or clinically demonstrated efficacy and safety of the TAIslim System. To help individuals achieve negative caloric balance on a daily basis, the TAIslim System is composed of 3 products: TAIslim® Liquid (metabolic enhancement); TAIslim® SHAKE (advanced meal replacement), TAIslim® SKINNY™ (appetite controlling snack), and TAIslim® BOOSTERs (functional mix-ins for the SHAKE). Along with regular exercise and a healthy diet, the TAIslim System helps individuals reach and maintain a healthy weight.”

FreeLife International Presented Results of Successful TAIslim® BOOSTERs Study at Annual Obesity Society Meeting
Orlando, FL — October 3, 2011 — FreeLife International presented the results of several human clinical studies on TAIslim BOOSTERs – the latest products in the Company’s proprietary quadruple-patent pending TAIslim Total Body System for weight management – at the annual Obesity Society Meeting. The meeting was held in Orlando from October 1 through 5, 2011, and was one of the world’s largest gatherings of obesity professionals including leading obesity scientists presenting cutting-edge research. The annual meeting provides essential educational and networking opportunities and is a forum for increasing knowledge, stimulating research, and promoting better treatment for those affected by the disease of obesity.
FreeLife’s Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Haru Amagase, along with co-investigator and Chief Product Officer Rick Handel, presented research on the impact of the TAIslim System on weight management. They discussed the unique benefits of TAIslim Super Fruits and Super Greens BOOSTERs, including: a significant increase of preference of the TAIslim SHAKE meal replacement when mixed with BOOSTERs; and stimulation of energy expenditure (calorie burning) that was observed in several randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human clinical studies. As the System was found to significantly reduce body weight, body mass index (BMI), and waist and hip circumferences, total body fat content in previous studies, adding BOOSTERs to the existing System will be a great addition to increase its potency and efficacy.
According to co-investigator and Chief Product Officer Rick Handel, “Many people simply do not consume enough healthy fruits and vegetables, although they are some of the best foods for achieving and maintaining a healthy weight. TAIslim BOOSTERS are ideal, as they add the phytonutrient power of 28 fruits or 32 vegetables, herbs, and other healthful green foods. Each scoop delivers the antioxidant strength of five servings of vegetables or fruits, while helping the body to burn even more calories.”
Dr. Amagase added, “These clinical study results are very important for those who continue to pursue weight management. Over time, daily use of even the best-tasting meal replacement shakes can become somewhat boring. BOOSTERs add variety of taste, and will help people to stay compliant with the TAIslim System so they can maintain a healthy dietary caloric intake. We believe that our research demonstrates great promise for those seeking safe, effective, and sustainable weight control.”
The TAIslim Total Body System is a result of FreeLife’s continuing commitment to cutting edge science and human clinical research. With four patents pending and rigorous scientific studies, no other weight management product can approach the scientific innovation or clinically demonstrated efficacy of the TAIslim System.

FreeLife International® Presents Results of Successful Clinical Studies at Annual Obesity Society Meeting
PHOENIX, AZ October 28, 2009 FreeLife International® recently presented the significant results of several human clinical studies on TAIslim®, its proprietary triple patent pending liquid weight management supplement, at the 27th Annual Scientific Meeting of The Obesity Society. This important conference, held in Washington, DC, brought together the world's leading players in the field of obesity from basic and clinical researchers and clinicians to educators, advocates, policy shapers, and practitioners.
At the conference, FreeLife’s Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Haru Amagase presented research on the impact of TAIslim on weight management. He discussed TAIslim's unique mode of action and the significant reductions in body weight, body mass index (BMI), waist and hip circumferences observed in several controlled human clinical studies. TAIslim was also found to cause significant improvements over placebo in blood pressure, fasting glucose levels, and total body fat content. The formula was developed after weight management benefits were noted in clinical studies on two other FreeLife supplements – GoChi® and Chi3 Energy™, both of which are based on the Asian goji berry (Lycium barbarum).
FreeLife’s findings on TAIslim will be published in the respected journal Obesity. “These results are very interesting and promising,” remarked Dr. Marie-Pierre St-Onge, noted obesity research expert and Assistant Professor at St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital and New York Obesity Research Center at Columbia University. She added, “The rise in energy expenditure (i.e., fat burning) with these goji-based products is interesting and suggests a mechanism by which they can assist in weight management.”
"Lycium barbarum is a very interesting herb,” stated Dr. Norman R. Farnsworth, world-renowned Professor of Pharmacognosy (study of plant-based medicines) at the University of Illinois at Chicago. “Clinical studies have shown multiple health benefits for humans, especially for general well-being, for immune-modulation, and for its antioxidant effects. The medicinal properties of Lycium barbarum in traditional Asian medicine correlate well with recent scientific studies. It appears that the active compounds in Lycium barbarum are polysaccharides (LBP) on which the TAIslim product is standardized.”
FreeLife® is the first company to perfect a difficult and demanding proprietary process and create the most highly standardized form of the goji berry available in the world today. According to FreeLife’s Dr. Amagase, “TAIslim is the only product on the market that combines standardized goji LBP with a proprietary blend of synergistic natural ingredients, and we believe that our research demonstrates great promise for those seeking safe, effective and sustainable weight control. We are honored to have the opportunity to share our significant study results with the best and brightest experts and scientists in obesity research.”
With three patents pending, the TAIslim formula is a result of FreeLife’s continuing commitment to cutting-edge science and human clinical research. No other weight loss product can approach TAIslim’s exclusive formula, scientific innovation, or clinically demonstrated efficacy.
FreeLife is the first company to perfect a difficult and demanding proprietary process and create the only standardized form of this incredible plant available in the world today.
